A quick Flip Cam review/rant of Johnnie Walker based on a quote I found about someone reviewing this product, I figured although I wrote a review, my passion is best seen in video form.
Plus, it was fun!
I wasn’t going to review this product only because I thought everyone knew about Johnnie Walker Black, so who would need to be guided through the experience. Then, while google searching I found very few people actually reviewing the product and those that did simply didn’t understand the concept of blended scotch whisky.
lovely classic built with scotch whisky, we’re still using some Johnnie Walker Black Label until we get to diversify our scotch collection. This is a sweeter version of our prior Manhattan cocktail, the Dry Manhattan using bourbon.
The second day of Scotch recipes, we’re easing up a bit with something slightly sweeter and sour at the same time. This cocktail brings the flavors of coke (since it’s an ingredient) and a bunch of sweet & sour mix, so much so that you may consider cutting the ingredient in half if you want to taste a bit more of the refined goodness of the Scotch.
We’ve been getting requests to do some Scotch Whisky cocktails so here is the first of two for the week…hey, two’s a good start! We’re utilizing Luxardo’s Maraschino Cherries for this cocktail, very dark colored rich in flavor natrual maraschino cherries. These are not simply bleached and infused with high fructose corn syrup, they’re real.
