The Maiden’s Blush #2, a cocktail wrapped in a pink bow with a black jellybean taste. While it’s obvious that the La Fée absinthe is meant to dominate this cocktail, it’s holding the lower measure in the recipe to that of gin. The gin (in this case G’Vine Nouaison) brings additional dynamics to the cocktail and creates something that’s not all about the absinthe. This week we’re starting the day right, with a bright green alien secretion. The proper blend of coconut rum (Cruzan), pineapple juice and Midori Melon Liqueur. This drink will satisfy the sweet tooth without bringing a huge sugar rush, it’s got sweets but it’s not overpowered by them.
