Tequila time! What are your thoughts on tequila? Are you stuck on the myth that you lose your pants and such? We’ve got 3/4 oz. Partida Blanco Tequila, 1 oz. Peppermint Schnapps, 3/4 oz. Godiva Liqueur, 1 1/2 oz. Cream.
A seasonal cocktail for the holidays, we’re mixing up: 1 oz. Partida Reposado, 3/4 oz. Irish Cream, 1/2 oz. Butterscotch Schnapps and a Splash of Cinnamon Schnapps.
We’re busting out the old fashioned recipe, Tequila Añejo Style! We’re making a few of them, each with an añejo tequila including: Riazul, Tres Generaciones, El Gran Jubileo and Partida.
We’ve made our way to the Añejo Tequila Tasting! Although tequila isn’t Jennifer’s favorite spirit, she did a good job representing for those that have no experienced the añejo style of tequila. We’re tasting four brands including: Riazul, Tres Generaciones, Partida and El Gran Jubileo.
Time to make five reposado tequila cocktails, we’re creating the La Bomba to taste test the brands. We’ll make the La Bomba Tequila with five brands of Reposado: Tres Generaciones, Don Julio, El Gran Jubileo, Partida and 100-proof Dulce Vida.
We’re tasting reposado tequila, five brands including: Tres Generaciones, Don Julio, El Gran Jubileo, Partida and the 100-Proof Dulce Vida. We tried to get a cross-section of pricing and style but each tequila ranged from USD $40 to USD $50 so we didn’t get as big of a price bracket as we wanted.
Please Note: We recently found out our bottle sample of Partida Añejo was bad. After receiving a new bottle, the “sour” taste reported in this video went away and it was smooth as it should have been. Sorry for the mis-communication, bad samples do happen from time to time. Welcome to our second Tequila tasting, this week we’re hammering out some tastings against a few Reposado brands. These brands may be used for sipping like an aged Añejo or mixing in your favorite cocktail that calls for tequila. The brands being covered are all top-notch in quality and taste; I ordered them in a high level preferance but I’d never turn away from any of these 100% de Agave products if ordering a cocktail at a restaurant or elsewhere. This is a huge episode, packed full of great blanco tequila brands. It’s a bit long, coming in at the low twenty minute mark, but with nine tequila’s to taste, I believe with covered a great deal of hot brands. Every third news story these days is Swine Flu and everyone is up in arms about this growing “hamdemic,” but Partida Tequila isn’t letting it get in the way of producing smooth tequila. They’re battling the flu the only way they know how: perseverance and a few blue masks. If you’ve got to live with the swine flu in the news you can at least add some humor to your lives.
