This may be the best daiquiri you'll ever make in your lives, so pay attention. The classic Daiquiri is a simple drink but the balance of ingredients plays a huge part given the simplicity of the recipe. In this version of the classic, we're also adding a pinch of salt to really connect the flavors and bring out some of the beauty of the daiquiri.

The Scorpion bowl, a cocktail recipe (or punch) that's the bane of many a young college student. The Scorpion bowl, something people dare to order off the menu at a polynesian restaurant. That is a dangerous little number but not all recipes are the same--most aren't that good. People want to drink a scorpion bowl without being blown away by alcohol burn. They want to enjoy their drink with friends and this recipe will meet those expectations.

The strapcutter, this cocktail we manage to forget at least two ingredients and have to re-shake a few times to finally get it right, but we pulled it off. In the end, we also forgot the garnish but got that on before the end as well. Like a drink with a bit of "girth", a bit of alcohol bite (alcohol rating of 5) with a nice balance on sweet and sour. A pretty tiki-like cocktail.

The Alien Piss, a potent cocktail with an epic color. Midori typically makes a drink super sweet, not in the alien piss cocktail! This is a cocktail that gets easier to drink as you continue to sip it.

So, does it compare to the products that have lived in this market for many years and established their name? The one advantage the folks at Captain Morgan have with their Light Rum alternative is that this isn't their first voyage into rum--they've got a killer Sherry Cask spiced rum.
