We’re making the Absinthe Curacao Frappe Cocktail with four brands of absinthe. La Clandestine is a blanche (white) absinthe styles while the La Feé and Veux Carré are Verte (green) variants. The Lucid is considered a Verte but it sure looks and tastes more like a Blache.

This is a layered cocktail that’s meant to show off the potency of absinthe. The Flaming Imbecile is served on fire, easily done with the absinthe layered on the top. The shooter will definitely underscore the black liquorice/anisette flavor with some sourness followed by sweetness.
