The Stone Ricky is a light and refreshing gin-based cocktail that even non-gin drinkers will want to try. The sour combination with orange juice (seen in almost all 'stoned sour' cocktails) brings both taste and aroma without going overboard. A great beach sipper, pool side refresher, this cocktail keeps it flavorful without having to rely too much on crazy amounts of alcohol. You'll be able to sip on a few of these before having to worry about the alcohol going to your head.

Benedictine meets flaming orange, two of Ian's favorite things! This cocktail utilizes gin, but the real focus is on the herbal liqueur Benedictine, even though it's one of the least quantities on the recipe card, it's the one with the most distinct flavor.

Our second red bull cocktail of the week (since we had a can we might as well use all of it). The Bullfrog tries to duplicate the works of a Long Island iced tea but brings in curacao and a half can of red bull. Will it hold up with all those ingredients and no juice to balance out the sharp alcohols and energy drink?

The easy tasting flavor that has an ice tea appeal, color and lack of intense alcohol flavor. The cocktail doesn't have too much additional alcohol over many other cocktails, but it still brings a good 3 oz. in a single drink. The Long Island Iced Tea doesn't hurt a person, it's the follow up request that starts to cause the hurt.

If you like absinthe, the Absinthe Sour is focused on your taste except, it may also fit other people too. Jennifer sat on the show and managed to sip on it without the "ew" face going on so that says something for the dynamics of this drink. There is definitely a beautiful citrus gin with some sweetness and a long drawn out finish that slowly melts into a numbing "black jelly bean" flavor, but muted.

The Clover Rose is a spectacular cocktail designed by the folks at the Wild Hibiscus Flower Company using their new concentrate called Rose+Hibiscus. If you like the aroma of rose peddles this cocktail may blow your mind. Now that we created it, this might make a fabulous Valentine's day cocktail in a few months. The aroma is awesome, the flavor is strikingly well balanced with a creamy texture that's not too sweet and not too sour.
