Maple Cherry Whiskey Shooter, How-To
Not nearly as mild as sweet as it might look; tons of whiskey punch in the face with a hint of sweet finish but it’s hard to find after the high strength bourbon

A strong bourbon focus from the start which leads to a mid-palate of sweet vermouth and the classic off-dry finish that lingers with wine-like vermouth flavor. An off-sweet start with an off-dry finish, you really must appreciate the flavor of vermouth to like this cocktail.
mooth, medium-body vanilla bean and oak with a tongue numbing action with a citrus mid-palate. Good pronounced flavor that may help it mix well in a cocktail. A well-balanced bourbon that’s got a bright oak which doesn’t go overboard.
Light aroma that isn’t really “in your face” that almost brings a bit of anise to your nose; not as sweet of an aroma as some other bourbons in this price range. Striking bright fresh oak with a mild heat “burn” from start to finish. Weak mid-palate flavor profile; starts with a bit of a citrus play into an oak finish
Hugely flavorful, fruity with an almost “spiced rum” appeal yet without forgetting the bright light wood flavor. Lots of great vanilla, molasses and subtle yet sweet brown sugar. Great mature mouthfeel and awesome copper color.
