Kitty Carlisle Cocktail

We’re really enjoying the catdaddy product, for those that can gain some access to this I highly suggest it. At Tales of the Cocktail 2010 many folks had their first taste of Catdaddy and were surprised on how well it tastes (as typical “moonshine” products tend to be potent to the extreme).

Walking Dead Cocktail

Not much to say here, this is just a stupid crazy mixture of alcohol, I’d not even call this exactly a “cocktail.” It’s a bit of everything all put together in what can only be a potion of sorts, something you’d think a witch would brew. But, it makes for good video!

Mint Julep

A basic and classic cocktail from the early years, the mint julep. We’re muddling some mint the old school way, adding a little simple syrup (‘sugar and water’) and three full ounces of lovely bourbon. You can create it as you want it, with the measure of bourbon that suits you.

So simple ang so old-school classic.

Divine Cocktail

Beverage Artistry El Corazon using Woodford Reserve Bourbon, Simple Syrup and some lemon juice. Flavorful, colorful and delicious with a good balanced fruit flavor. Flavors of pomegranates, blood oranges, passion fruit with oaky hints–very dark berry juice. Juicy!

Eliminator Cocktail Recipe

Two of my favorite spirits mixed together: tequila and bourbon. This cocktail brings the carbonated orange flavors to that of a rich agave (using the Corzo silver) and a mild bourbon finish. If you’re a fan of the tequila flavors and love a nice bourbon, this fairly potent cocktail (considering it’s half orange soda) is definitely something try.

Jim Beam 4-Year Old White Label Whiskey Review

I love doing whiskey reviews but I get so few whiskey’s in for review. This week I have the privilege of testing Jim Beam’s 4-Year Old (white label) and seeing how it stacks up to my palate. It poured a very light amber/orange something close to polished copper in tone which I can clearly see-through.

Ground Zero Cocktail

Oak and peppermint, a combination many of us are probably not used to combining together. The Ground Zero cocktail is something I was hesitant in building because the ingredients seem to go against all that is natural

Graveyard Cocktail Recipe

Some Fridays we just like to get stupid, we’re getting stupid today. The Graveyard Cocktail has more ingredients than it needs for the purpose but it’s just not a crazy episode unless we fill the table with spirits. From vodka, gin, tequila, scotch, bourbon, triple sec, beers, you name it this cocktail will exercise the [...]

Texas Tea Recipe

We’re adopting a southern recipe this week: the Texas Tea. Okay, the origins probably do not lie in the area of Texas as this is yet another “tea” style recipe that no doubt branched off of the Long Island Iced Tea. The big difference in this cocktail is the inclusion of Bourbon as a spirit. [...]
