We’re testing out our orange bitters for this episode, Angostura is finally selling them in our area. The Dafne Martini is a dry cocktail with nice elegant flavors and a bitter orange taste all wrapped around some big ol’ gin. Try this out, see if you taste more pear than we did, perhaps we used too much bitters. However, the orange bitters are tasty and work well, no regrets with too much bitters in this cocktail! This is a overflow from our holiday week but it fits any time of the year as it’s a great potent little number known as the Axe Murderer. This cocktail has nice sweet flavors reflecting that of a tropical/tiki cocktail (with less rum) with a potent finish that reminds you that this cocktail has a lot of unique alcohols.
