It’s Toddy Time! We’re building out an italian variant to the toddy, where using some CC (canadian club) whiskey and bringing in an italian herbal liqueur: Averna. Drip some honey, hot water and freshly squeezed orange juice and you’re done.
The Balrog shooter doesn’t seem to have anything to do with the Lord of the Rings movie, but it is a neat little recipe non-the-less. The Hornito’s Tequila, Tito’s Vodka and Averna Sambuca mingle together to make a slightly firery cocktail with a good tequila finish. The Via Veneto is our first official sambuca cocktail recipe on Common Man Cocktails.
