Today we’re going to show you How To Make The Nacional Daiquiri, a classic cocktail from Hotel Nacional with tweaks by Jeffrey Morgenthaler.
Like many great daiquiri recipes this cocktail brings together rum, lime and sugar but accents it with peach bitters and apricot brandy. The apricot and peach gives this daiquiri recipe a slight drink twist. Just a slight bit on the sweeter side but still balanced against that lime so you get both the citrus and the peach combined.
Fee Peach Bitters brings some powerful peach, we’re not sure how other peach bitters will impact your cocktail recipe. Go make a nacional daiquiri and enjoy a taste of Havana!
The Nacional Daiquiri
– 1½ oz. Light rum
– ¾ oz. Apricot brandy
– 1 oz. Fresh lime juice
– ¾ oz. Simple syrup
– 2 dashes. Peach bitters
