Today we’ll show you how to make a tequila sour, this tequila drink is a classic in terms of the ‘sour’ design. While everyone assumes a margarita is the first real tequila drink, the sour was designed 20+ years earlier.

Alma de Agave:
Our Store, where you can get Corazon Bitters
While we cannot say this is the initial recipe ratios and ingredients applied to a traditional tequila sour, it’s safe to assume the sour design has changed over the last hundred years with people’s taste and accessibility to ingredients.
While our tequila sour is still an easy tequila drink to make, it’s a cocktail recipe that should be tried by fans of tequila. This works with reposado tequila, blanco tequila or even an aged anejo tequila (especially from the Alma de Agave tequila brand!).
This episode brought to you by our partner Alma de Agave!
The Tequila Sour
1.5 oz Reposado Tequila
.75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
.25 oz Fresh Lime Juice
.75 oz Agave Nectar
3 Dashes Bittercube Corazon Bitters
1 Egg White
Of course, if you don’t have corazon bitters, use the bitters you have on hand (mole would work well). Angostura will work without too much of a problem, they have some nice cinnamon.
