You can make a dry martini at home, or at the bar as a bartender, that is up to you because it’s an easy gin martini recipe. This is a recipe every bartender should know, it’s bartending 101 in our book. As a bartender you will be asked to make a martini, often with gin or sometimes with vodka (just swap the vodka for gin in this recipe).
For those making a gin martini at home, it’s easy and doesn’t require a ton of ingredients. You can pickup some Regan’s Orange Bitters right at our store (AwesomeDrinks.com) then get a nice quality vermouth and go to town.
We use London Dry gin for our gin martini but you can make a gin martini with an American gin or even an Old Tom Gin.
2 1⁄2 oz / 75 ml London Dry Gin
1⁄2 oz. / 15 ml Dry Vermouth
1 Dash (1 ml) Orange Bitters, Optional
