Today we will show you how to make a gin & tonic, an easy gin cocktail for those that love refreshing gin based cocktails. Plus, we’ll explain to you a bit of the history.
The Gin & Tonic cocktail is as old as malaria, it was used as a medical cure and preventative measure. The gin & tonic is a fantastic easy gin cocktail as long as you don’t mind gin and, of course, a lot of tonic.
Tonic is a bitter little pill, but it’s not as bitter as old school tonic. So, this Gin & Tonic might not be as authentic as the original classic solution to malaria but it sure tastes better.
You don’t have to love the history, but you probably will love a G&T if you’re big into bitter tonic water. Use a good tonic water to make a great gin and tonic cocktail.
Gin & Tonic
– 2 oz. Gin
