Doug, Ian and I make The Aviation and do it twice, once with Aviation Gin and once with Brockmans Gin to see how the berry component plays up against the Aviation Gin version.
The Aviation is a classic cocktail created by Hugo Ensslin, head bartender at the Hotel Wallick in New York, in the early twentieth century. So, you’re tasting a bit of history with this one, along side a drink that’s very maraschino liqueur prominent.
