We have to keep adding alcohol (Jameson Irish Whiskey) to the Irish root Beer because it’s hidden well, tastes like a root beer float of sorts utilizing Irish Cream (Coole Swan in this case).
This is a big daddy of a drink and we just can’t seem to get it to taste like alcohol so we keep trying with other ingredients, even adding Stroh 160 and other things, including doubling the ingredients to try to get a bit more of a punch.
Irish Root Beer
– 1 oz. Jameson Irish whiskey
– 1/2 oz. Irish cream
– 1/2 oz. Butterscotch schnapps
– 12 oz. Root beer
