Tasting Notes: A hint of smokey Isley scotch which may come from our bittermen’s tiki bitters and a bit of allspice in the mid-palate experience. Overall, a fairly complicated flavor profile without a ton of alcohol coming through.  A light muted absinthe finishing.

We create a polynesian cocktail and entitle it the Dead Doug because it is sour and has absinthe dashes. We are using the Cthulhu Tiki Mug to create this little cocktail creation. We use Bittermen’s Elemakule Tiki Bitters but you can use whatever bitters make sense to you.

Dead Doug Recipe

  • 3/4 oz. Orange Juice
  • 3/4 oz. Lime Juice
  • 1/4 oz. Simple syrup
  • Dash of Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 oz. Rum
  • 1 1/2 oz. Tequila
  • Dash of Bitters
  • 4 Dashes of Absinthe
