Tasting Notes: Most skittle flavors bring some type of spirit relationship; yellow brings me to lemonchello, green to some margarita-like flavors, but then there is red…. red tastes like a red skittle but that’s really all I could come up with for red!
People have come to realize that Common Man Cocktails creates and tastes their creations. After recording a fairly long version of the How To Make Skittles Vodka, we needed a followup on how it ended up tasting. This video is that tasting.

Why not adding a few drops of blue food coloring in the “purple” vodka, to make it really purple ?
I would feel I cheated the infusion if I artificially color it. It’s “homemade” so I sorta am okay with things being more “natural” in how their colors come out. If I were marketing it, I’d probably find a better way
Yeah, I was thinking about your homemade melon liquor, when you used coloring to make it looking like Midori. Anyway, Skittles vodka looks amazing of a shelf.
Yeah, the melon liqueur can definitely use a refinement in a lot of things to get it more midori-like.
By the way, have you ever used it in recipes ?
No, not yet. I’ve only had it for two weeks, that’s like a blink of the eye to me as I’m usually super busy. Eventually we’ll find a place for it to go
