Saint Patrick’s Day Cocktail: Dancing Leprechaun

Tasting Notes: Subtle Drambuie action as an overall flavor. The Drambuie plays well against that of the ginger spice without taking too much away form either flavor. You feel the presents of Scotch but you’re not getting a full Scotch experience, so use a blended. The sour of the lemon is muted due to the intensity of ginger spice.

Bringing sour and hot spices together with a flavorful yet subtle Drambuie “UK spiced” play on a cocktail. You’ll really want to love the ginger beer before being fully on board with this cocktail.

Recipe:

  • 3/4 oz. Drambuie
  • 1 1/2 oz. Dewar’s White Label
  • 1/2 oz. Lemon Juice
  • 2 oz. Ginger Ale
  • Garnish with a Lemon Twist
