Brandy Alexander

Nutmeg makes a seasonal cocktail shine, the Brandy Alexander has a pinch of nutmeg. Oddly enough, it also uses Cognac in the “Brandy” Alexander. We went out and got ourselves some dark cream de cacao for this cocktail and the result is a rich looking creamy drink that’s very light on the senses.

A great introductory cocktail and something that would work well if you’ve got guests coming over this holiday as it’s a good “safe drink” without too much intensity. Some folks like the idea of drinking cocktails but don’t like the “taste” of the burning ethenol present in many drinks. Here is your alternative.
